Morgan James is pleased to announce a collaboration with Crosley Radio, to release an exclusive limited edition of the double vinyl LP titled “MORGAN JAMES” with all 30 tracks of the 1968 release “The Beatles”, otherwise known as The White Album, covered by Morgan James.
The 33rpm LP’s were mastered for vinyl by Jeff Powell, Take Out Vinyl, Memphis, and pressed on 100% “no additives” natural vinyl by Gotta Groove Records, Cleveland. The premium package includes black poly-lined sleeves and Morgan James design gatefold jacket.
Listeners find the classic ballads "Blackbird" and "I Will" presented a cappella with James showcasing artfully-constructed harmonies. The wistfully mournful lyrics of "Julia" are borne beautifully by her heavenly vocals, while the early heavy metal sound of "Helter Skelter" infuses the album with James's signature funky soul treatment. The album was produced by her longtime collaborator Doug Wamble, who played the instruments in every song as well as providing additional vocals.
